OUR STORY

Audrey is from the small town of Taylorsville, NC and is one of the founders of TDSND!  She’s a full-time realtor, but also loves getting to spend time with dogs and cats while pet sitting. Some of her favorite hobbies are snowboarding, boating, going on walks, and spending time with friends and family.

“We started The Dog Sitters Next Door because I loved taking care of my friend’s dogs and wanted to do it more often. When I realized there was a huge need for personalized pet care, I started an instagram and reached out to Taylor and Claire to partner and we built the business into what it is today! I love spending time with all different kinds of dogs and cats and enjoy meeting new people while helping give them peace of mind while they are away from their fur babies. Traveling can be extremely stressful if you have pets at home and having the opportunity to ensure they are well cared for and loved while away is something pretty special!"

Claire was born and raised in Charlotte and one of the 3 founders of TDSND. She works part time as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Huntersville Medical Center treating patients and helping them on their road to recovery. She has a big sense of adventure and when she's not helping others she loves exploring the outdoors. Whether it be hiking, rock climbing, traveling, snowboarding- you name it, she'll be there. Claire has been an animal lover since she was a child; even adopted a horse when she was 7 and spent time volunteering at the Humane Society of CLT caring for dogs before they found their forever home. She has always made a deep connection with our furry friends of the world and we call her the dog whisperer for that reason!

We have poured our heart into this business and are grateful it allows us to give your pups the love and care they deserve. We will always love on them as if they were our own. TDSND is so much more personalized than other pet sitting options on the market, and we enjoy every moment we get to spend in the presence of your fur babies. I love that I get to work alongside my best friends, constantly pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve together. It's been a wild ride and I'm so proud of what we have created.

Hi there! Also born and raised in the small town of Taylorsville, NC. I  grew up around dogs and cats as a child and loved it! I've been in Charlotte now for over 7 years. When I'm not working you can find me trying out new workout classes, hanging out with my friends and family, or going on a weekend adventure. I love going on walks with a cute pupper by my side!

 

As a lifelong animal lover, I understand how important it is to give pets the attention and care they deserve. I started TDSND as a side hobby, dogsitting for friends and taking them to parks and breweries for some fun. As word spread we quickly realized we needed some more amazing ladies to help our business thrive and provide the best service possible to our clients . We are extremely proud of what we've built and the love we've shared and continue to share with our CLT furry friends!
